Where has the time gone.

Wow... The week before last (can you tell how long I've been meaning to post??) was so wonderful and relaxing and amazing. I was on vacation and was able to spend some much needed time with my family and friends.
Monday was "Ladies who Lunch". Once a month I get together with my Mom, cousin and sometimes-other friends. Monday was lunch at Half Moon in Wallingford with Claudia and my Mom. Afterwards we went to Claudia's house to see the kids real quick. Wow, they are all so big and awesome. Claudia gave me some great books to read, Adriana Trigiani, Big Stone Gap Trilogy (really loving it), Red Tent and other wonderful summer time reads.
Tuesday I went to visit with Sara and Ella. What fun. Ella is amazing and it was so GREAT to connect with Sara. I remember lots of summers when we were inseparable. We played hours upon hours of rummy, made mud pies in the milk cooler and would beg to spend nights over each other's houses. Ella is so cute and totally fun to hang with. We danced, ate a great lunch and took lots of pictures. Ella is an amazing kid. I went shoe shopping afterwards and picked up a really cute, summery pair of Bjorn's.
Wednesday I got to spend the day with Alison and her beautiful family. We ate some yummy pizza and just relaxed together. Myles is so smart and quite an amazing young man.
Teagan is such an inquisitive little gal that is definitely her mother's daughter. Her smile could melt your heart. Benji (the newest addition t the family is so much a part of this family already. He is calm, gorgeous and loving... what more can I say. Ali- you all are amazing and I would be honored to spend some time with you all again... maybe this time we can pick a nicer day. Love you all.
Friday was supposed to be my spa day... but my sister was not able to get her schedule in order so we had a great lunch instead... it was amazing. Leah lady joined us and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing end to my vacation week.
It went by so fast and now I'm back to work. Today was a big day at the theatre... we had a ladies luncheon with Eve Ensler and ended the day with the annual meeting. Lots of running around.
I hope to not let 2 weeks go by until I write again but I also can't promise. I've been a little "in my head" (a term that I think I've coined and seem to use ALL the time) lately and can't seem top kick it. Hopefully the summer will get here and stay and cool off a bit at work so that I can get out of my head and hang a bit more...
Love you all!

I've been wanting to post these for awhile... so here goes.

If you click on this one and make it big you can see the boys in the background sitting in a circle watching her and it is the CUTEST thing. Plus you can see that my girl is floating.

I was a great Memorial day dinner... the kids were hilarious. Robbie doesn't talk but he hears it all. My theory is that he is just waiting for the rest of them to be quiet and then he will take over.

It has been a tough week. I wasn't feeling well all weekend last weekend finally went to the dr and was all good to wake up the next day and my back is out. Two+ years ago I SUFFERED from a herniated disc. It wasn't bad enough for surgery so I've been doing Pilates, excersising and seeing a chiropractor to keep up with it. So when I run myself a little ragged and don't take care... I SUFFER... and let me tell you... I am suffering. I didn't go to work yesterday and Im hobbling a little today. I was the genius that didn't cancel water aerobics thinking that the water "would do me good". It did not.
I really need to be better by Monday because I really don't want to take another day off. But I am not stupid and if I have to I will.
So beyond that there really isn't much to report. Greg is really busy with rehearsals at school. They are doing "Guys and Dolls", cute huh. He is also being super great and running to the store and getting me treats and all that. He HATES when
I'm not feeling well. That makes two of us.
Some other news... I was on the NEWS again. We had a program at work the other day and they interviewed me. This link will take you to the website... go to the video and scroll on the side down to where is says Lynn Redgrave 5/31. I was nervous but it was fun.

Here are some more pics

My girl... showing off the for the camera and NOT sharing that ice cream for the world.

Happy Long Weekend

I think every weekend should be three days long. It just feels right.
Yesterday my friend Judy was here showing her gorgeous jewelry. There were lots of happy ladies and lots of pina coladas... I really wanted to take a picture of each gorgeous woman with their beautiful piece; but alas the pina coladas had me prisoner. HEEhee Debie was the only one that I got.

Everyone got something that suited them so perfectly. It was so much fun... and the drinks were d-2-the lish.
Alison brought Benji along so I got plenty of baby time too.... perfect day. Even the boys were happy... they went to the movies and then we had a wonderful dinner in stages.
To all those that missed the party and would love to view the jewelry...
Go to etsy.com and search for Judy B as a seller. Or click on this totally convenient link!
Totally wearable on an everyday and special occassion basis. She actually has a pice that I am going to build an outfit around and "borrow"it.

The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to rest and fun. We are headed to the beach today for a family picnic of a friend of mine. Should be tons of fun...
Not really sure what tomorrow will bring... but we can leave that til tomorrow.

SO CUTE!!!

Love love love... and lest us not forget.

May Day

1st of May today and I can't believe it. I know that I need to stop blogging about how fast time goes by.
The weather is really starting to shape up and making me want to spend as much time out there as possible. Walks and long drives with the windows open and the music loud.

Today Leah moves into her new apartment... :(
I'm gonna miss:
-cute or not cute
-wanna go to the mall?
-morning breakfast therapy
-sister wife #2
-my shoe collection has decreased by more than half
-so has my jewelry and makeup.
-most of all my best friend at my fingertips. :)

My partner in crime.
