Stomach bug

Last night was my first encounter with the dreaded stomach bug. The only thing I have to say is, it could have been worse and OMG if it could have been worse I am not sure what I would have done.
Calli started getting sick around 9pm and I think the last bit of vomit happened around 2am. We went through 4 pairs of pajamas, three towels, one top sheet, one pair of sweats, shirt and slippers (although they really needed to get washed) of mine and then this morning we went through an outfit. Lots of laundry happening at our house today.
The worst part is not really understanding what was going on with her and feeling helpless to making it better. I cried a bit because I wished I could take the ick away and make it better.
We are home today together and I still want to take the ick away. She seems to be doing better but still not 100%.

11 months

UNBELIEVEABLE!
No stats today, Calli will go for her 1 year appointment next month and I will give you the details then. Today she woke up happy and smiling and ready for the day. She loves to blow kisses and talks up a storm. She likes to play by herself and walk around the house pushing her baby doll Stella in her stroller. Calli plays peek-a-boo and patty cake and claps her hands (the last two look a lot alike!). Calli will follow you around the house because she likes to be in on the action and wants to know what is going on. She also cruises along the furniture practicing for the day when my world comes crashing down and she starts walking. She has lots of friends at daycare and plays all day long.
All in all I have the happiest baby on the planet... unless of course I try to clean her nose, then all bets are off and the screaming begins.
Hope you all have a happy happy day!
