I spent Friday and Saturday in the city. I have a love/hate relationship with the city. It really truly is the best place on Earth but so confusing and frustrating to go there. Add relatives from another country and it can be really frustrating. We took the train from New Haven and arrived at Grand Central Station, which is always amazing. It is so beautiful and busy and intrinsically New York. Our hotel was very close to Times Square and Broadway. We walked around a ton and went to see Chicago. Again Saturday morning we spend walking around and taking in the NY sites. I had a great time with the fam, but as always happy to get away from the busyness that is NY. I missed not being able to call friends and hang, but this trip was all about the relatives!
Today we are getting together again!
