Not much to report. It's been cold... like seriously cold lately and we had a little snow last week but other than that not much to report. Here are some lazy musings of life...
- I was at a conference for the second half of the week last week. It was good, but not great. I think I had super high expectations of getting all the answers in one convenient place. When does that ever happen.
- I am now 7 months preggo and officially in the 3rd trimester. Wahoo.
- The days are getting longer and that is so wonderful; even though it is only a minute or so a day. I'll take it!! March 10, I am ready!!!!!
- My mom moved closer to me. This has been a while in the making and it is great. She lives a few minutes down the road in a great apartment and seems to be loving it. I love that she is closer so I can see her whenever I want. The down side is that she wants to see me all the time. Who can blame her!?! No really it is wonderful and I love hanging out with her.
- My hubby painted the baby's room while I was at my conference last week and it looks great. He did a GREAT job. I realize now that it is the same exact color as the bathroom. Maybe we will paint that next. :)
- We ordered the baby furniture last week. All I need is a rocker. Any comments/ suggestions? Do I need one? I know that I want to avoid feeding in bed as much as possible. We sleep on a sleep number bed and it doesn't seem like it will be comfortable for feeding.
- I really really really need to make that goals list. Ha! I know that it is a priority to start wading through the stuff in the basement to see what is and isn't there... I just can't seem to get around to it. This might be a problem. But the bigger problem is that I don't want any help and I DON'T want anyone to do it for me.
- My car is covered in salt and looks terrible. I absolutely hate getting my car washed. Especially in the winter. I am so lazy.....
- Saturday night we had a surprise visit from some friends from college. It was so fun to get together and have dinner and laugh and tell stories and just be....
- I know I already mentioned that my birthday is coming up. I'm not sure if I want to celebrate or not. I am really on the fence about it. I love to get together with friends and have a good time I just hate that the reason would be my birthday...

Celebrate, chicka! :) Who cares what the reason is, it's so awesome to go out with friends and enjoy the love you give and receive from them!
I debated the rocker too. They range from cheap to super expensive. My two cents is you should get one, it's better than standing and bouncing a baby and way better than sitting still. I'd suggest you get something that's comfortable: soft on your butt with padded arm rails/chairs. Also wide enough to sit indian style or with one foot tucked under your leg. Good Luck!

And you should ALWAYS celebrate your birthday!
