Book Club

Tonight is the first night of book club for me. It feels like Christmas morning and a first date all at once. I'm so excited to meet these wonderful women and hang at Jenn's place, but at the same time I'm feeling a bit vulnerable. I told Jenn I would make a cake... what the hell was I thinking??? I'm a terrible baker! I searched for a good recipe for hours yesterday and then had nightmares about it not being edible. Ugh.
The first thought I had when I woke up this morning, "What if I can't remember anything about the book?".
Am I the biggest dork that ever lived or what?

**UPDATE
There is a baker in me yet peeps. The cake is looking delish and the frosting even better. It may be lopsided and a little unevenly cooked but delish none the less. Maybe I could be a bakers assistant... I kick ass at measuring... except flour. :)

The cake was a hit. It is even better the second day! Book Club was awesome and as promised the ladies were lovely. Can't wait to keep reading.
