Hi there.

What a crazy weekend. Here it is Sunday night, I'm getting ready for the week and I don't know where the past two days have gone. I feel like it has been one long day, not 3. Friday night was a fun b-day bbq. An old friend of mine from high school celebrated a birthday. All I can say is that he can grill a mean steak and it was delicious.
Saturday was filled with a little running around and a great, relaxing facial. I love getting one and I know I should go more often. Then my hubby and I had a date... we went to the movies, I know I know, leave it to us to take the first really nice day and run inside, but that is just who we are. The movie was funny and it was nice to spend some time together. Because it was such a nice day the theater was empty and you could hear my laugh bouncing around the theater. I thought it was hilarious. The movie we saw was rated R and there was a family in the theater; half of the laughs were for that poor boy who had to sit through the movie with his parents. Poor kid, but I'm sure he loved the movie.
Today was a treat, my sister came down to drop Joe off with my mom and we went shopping together. It was nice to spend some time with my sister and nice to see the kidlets. They make me smile and laugh and smile even wider. Then the hubster and I went to visit Ali and her family to celebrate some birthdays. Her house was full of family, lots of kids and tons of good food. Ali can throw a party. I am always in awe of her and her amazing family. I've since come home and made frozen yogurt, banana walnut muffins and enjoyed some of my hubby's pulled pork. He cooked it over night in the slow cooker and all I can say is YUMMO.
This has been brought to you by all the coffee I drank today.

Spring has Sprung!

Wow, what a week. The weather has been unbelievable... I think. It is hard to know from inside the office, but I have made it a point to get out of the office as much as possible all week to soak in the sun. So today is Saturday so ready to enjoy the newly sprung weather and it is cloudy and cold. Isn't that just the way.... gorgeous week not great weekend. Oh well. I'm happy to relax a bit. Getting ready to get a facial, much needed by the way. Not just the relaxation but lately my skin has been a little crazy. Probably just a reflection of my life. The new job and the adjustment of it all. This week I finally started to feel like part of the team and had some work to do. Felt good. Tomorrow I will head over to Ali's house to celebrate with her. Her kids are 3 and 5, same exact birthday... crazy right. And it also happens to be right around her hubby's b-day. So there is alot going on over there.
Last weekend I had a great brunch and visit with Tina and her boys (they are in the pics above). Gosh they are so cute. And her crepes... magnifique!

I'm baaacck!

Hi. I guess if I thought that peeps were not reading before than I am probably writing to my self now. Any who... sorry for the MIA-ness. I have been one busy bee. I'm sure you want to know all about the job... so... it is great. The peeps are awesome, the atmosphere is fun and the work is super interesting. It is a little intimidating being the newbie and all but I have to say that they are bending over backwards to help me out. YAY!
Otherwise it has just been a busy couple of weeks. I went to Worcester to visit the old haunt and cheer my nephew on in Massachusetts History Day. It was great to see the diner and here all the news.
He didn't make it this year but watch out next year, that kid is on a mission.

Last weekend we had a visitor; my old roomie from college came to visit and all hell broke loose.... we had a great time reliving the old days and catching up on the new days. I LOVE her to pieces and it was GREAT having her here; I miss her already.
This weekend the hubster has been away on tour and this cat has been catching up with the gals and on relaxing. I went to a retirement party Friday night that was super touching and heart string pulling. Great man, lovely event. Saturday was spent SHOPPING with the gals. Fun fun fun. Today I am going to have brunch with a friend. Lots of catching up and not that much relaxing... oh well.
And a great time was had by all!!!
